On July 16, 2024, the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) organized a workshop on the District Chamber Assessment Tool and Private Sector Emergency Response Team (PERT) Management Guideline. The day-long event was held in association with the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief and the Asian Disaster Preparedness Center (ADPC), with a focus on improving disaster resilience and preparedness in the private sector.

Key figures in attendance included Senior Vice-President of FBCCI Mr. Md. Amin Helaly, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Mr. K M Abdul Wadud, and Technical Lead of ADPC Dr. Mona Chhabra Anand, who served as Guest of Honor. The event was chaired by FBCCI Vice-President Dr. Joshoda Jibon Deb Nath.

Other notable attendees were FBCCI Director and Co-convener of the FBCCI Crisis Management Committee Mr. Niaz Ali Chisty, FBCCI Secretary General Mr. Md. Alamgir, and Advisor of the FBCCI Safety Council Brig. Gen. (retd) Abu Nayeem Md. Shahidullah.

The workshop aimed to foster stronger disaster preparedness and emergency response collaboration between the public and private sectors, supporting Bangladesh's Vision 2041.
